A.M. Sun Solar is looking to hire LEAD INSTALLERS.
Ideal candidates are motivated team players with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn and master all aspects of their position.
SUMMARY
In this position, the Lead Installer must be a mechanically minded individual to work in the field installing residential grid-tied photovoltaic (PV) systems. The Lead Installer will be responsible for managing and installing the photovoltaic system from beginning to end. In this position, the Lead Installer will coordinate with the Operations Manager, work side by side with other crew members and install all photovoltaic system components, while managing the installation of a fully functional photovoltaic system. The overall goal of the Lead Installer is to work with field technicians to achieve completion of the project with the highest level of safety, quality, efficiency, and conformance to the original plans and specifications.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Direct the work of others at the job site, providing subject matter expertise as needed
- Complete roof installation on various roof types, as well as ground mounts
- Ensure proper job documentation is completed once the installation has been finished
- Interact with customers by answering questions as needed
- Update project management platform for install statuses and additional project notes
- Update the Administration Department daily with project status
- Use software to input inspection statuses and communicate with team onsite
- Direct implementation of A.M. Sin Solar’s vision and core values to the team

A.M. Sun Solar is looking to hire ENTRY-LEVEL AND SKILLED SOLAR INSTALLERS.
Ideal candidates are motivated team players with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn and master all aspects of installing PV solar systems.
Summary
Solar panel installers may also be known as solar photovoltaic installers or PV installers. They are specifically trained to work with solar panels and the systems involved in converting solar power into electricity.
Solar panel installers perform a lot of their work on roofs or other appropriate structures, so they need to be comfortable with heights. Attention to detail is important so that solar panel installers ensure the systems they install work properly and so they can maintain a safe working environment. Paying attention to detail is also important while being able to follow all safety precautions to prevent injuries. Solar panel installers also need to be able to lift heavy equipment.
Primary Responsibilities To Perform Project Installations Include:
Assemble, install, or maintain solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on roofs or other structures in compliance with site assessment and schematics. May include measuring, cutting, assembling, and bolting structural framing and solar modules.

Solar (PV) Installers should also possess the following specific qualities:
Customer-service skills – Residential solar installers must work in customers’ homes. As a result, installers must maintain professionalism and perform the work in a timely manner.
Detail-orientated – Solar Installers must carefully follow instructions during installation. If they fail to do so, the system may not work properly.
Mechanical skills – Solar Installers work with complex electrical and mechanical equipment. They must be able to build support structures that hold PV panels in place, and properly connect the panels to the electrical system.
Physical stamina – Solar Installers are often on their feet carrying panels and other heavy equipment. When installing rooftop panels, workers may need to climb ladders many times during the course of the day.
Physical strength – Solar Installers must often lift heavy equipment, parts, and tools. Installers should be strong enough to lift panels that weigh up to 50lbs.

SUMMARY
Residential Electricians are capable of troubleshooting and diagnosing operational issues, performing complex wiring installations, and Installing/upgrading main panels and sub-panels.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Perform main panel and sub-panel upgrades
- Install Tesla Powerwalls
- Install a wide range of battery backup systems
- Install critical load sub-panels and reroute critical load circuits
- Perform maintenance and service tasks for solar customers
- Provide on-site troubleshooting for electrical systems
- Collaborate closely with engineering/design team to resolve technical issues
- Identify solutions to resolve technical design problems, including electrical systems used during construction
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Develop positive and professional relationships with customers as well as employees
- Complete quality assurance inspections, documenting corrective actions, and ensuring completion of corrective items with reasonable timelines
- Maintain compliance with all A.M. Sun Solar policies and practices
JOB REQUIREMENTS

- Residential/General Electrician experience
- Minimum of 2+ years of electrical experience required
- Tesla battery installation experience preferred but not required
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Working knowledge of NEC code

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs – assistance may be provided for oversized items
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and drive for up to 8 hours at a time
