Cal Poly San Luis Obispo students may hold the key to the future of solar technology. They are working to create a design that reduces the number of panels needed to supply power to a house off the grid. With new technology they are hoping to make further advancements in the solar field and make everything run more efficiently . Currently the students have been able to reduce the number of panels needed to power a sample house from 28 down to just 15 super efficient panels.
