The Central Coast Shakespeare Festival 2018 season presents two plays running in repertory: ‘As You Like It’ by William Shakespeare and ‘The Three Musketeers’ by Alexandre Dumas. The shows run from July 12 through August 4th. Check the website for the complete schedule, show times, tickets and food and wine options. The festival is held at the beautiful and rustic Filipponi Ranch in a natural amphitheater. Bring lawn chairs, blankets and coats, as it can get chilly once the sun sets.

Morro Bay Art Association is pleased to present Summer art classes with Diana Tabarez. Tuesday and Thursday afternoon sessions are designed for teens, 12 and up.
Summer art programs are designed to get students excited about art, and help them learn new skills and techniques. Mediums include painting, drawing, clay, printmaking, mixed media and more. Prior experience is not necessary to participate. All art supplies are provided. Lessons are subject to change based on student’s interest and energy levels. For more info call 805-772-2504.
In this course, students will develop a firm foundation in the arts to be prepared for more focused study. The projects will focus on the expressive quality of their work as well as include themes centered on how art can make social commentary or influence current events. While building on technical skills, students will learn to analyze, discuss, and reflect on work of their own as well as the work of artists throughout history. Students will learn to recognize the role and purpose of art being produced based on context and culture of the time.

It’s time to cool down and enjoy a warm summer evening by coming out to an ice cream-filled event at the Charles Paddock Zoo. A relaxing and enjoyable evening is in store for all ages with music, activities, a wide variety of all-you-can-eat sweet treats, all while enjoying the Zoo!
This year Ice Cream Zoofari will include Doc Burnstein’s Ice Cream Lab, Yogurt Creations and A&W Root Beer.

Relax on a shady hay bale and watch riotous stage plays and hilarious comedy acts on four stages throughout the village. See authentic Elizabethan dancing, plays, singing, a falconry show, magic, juggling and crazy buffoonery. Throughout the village, you will see living history demonstrations. Treat your taste buds and get in the Renaissance spirit! The entertainment is amazing and continuous throughout the day on the stages and throughout the village.
